January 21– 25:  Bateman’s Bay

Visiting   Bateman’s Bay and  taking a 2.5hour cruise and hopefully seeing some dolphins, lunch on the Merinda Clyde boat,  Nelligan , Nelligan a peaceful little town on the river foreshore, Mogo Zoo where we will see the white lions and other endangered species, the town of Mogo, Bega and the Cheese Factory. $1750 per person all-inclusive.  There is one Carer for every two Clients. February 12– 16:  Mittagong/Bowral

Visiting Kangaroo Valley, the Pioneer Museum Park and open air museum, a very interesting place to discover, walking along the 72m swing bridge and a small bushwalk, The Fitzroy and Carrington Falls watching the waterfalls and the cascades, the Bradman Museum where we experience everything cricket, The Braemar Model Railway where we see miniature trains working on large tracks, this place is enchanting and anyone who likes trains will love it here, take a tree top walk through a rainforest, visit the historical town of Berrima a quaint village with lots to see including the old courthouse and village. $1750 per person all-inclusive.  There is one Carer for every two Clients.  Vacancy for 4 travellers.

 
March 11 to 15:  Canberra

Visiting The War Memorial a really lovely place, Cruise Lake Burley Griffin seeing the best of Canberra, The Sound and Music Archive a hands on experience, Mint, Zoo see lots of animals including an aquarium, Cockington Green the world in miniature, Mount Ainslie sees the whole of Canberra, The Australian Museum a hands on experience and lots more. 1750 per person all-inclusive.  There is one Carer for every two Clients.   Vacancy for 6 travellers.


March 17 to 22:  Another side of Victoria: Ballarat-Bendigo-Echuca:

Flying into Melbourne and driving to Ballarat.  Visiting Sovereign Hill,   going on a horse drawn coach ride, visiting the Gold Museum, Visiting Bendigo and the Bendigo Pottery Interpretive Museum and the Golden Dragon Museum, driving to Echuca and going on a paddle steamer and visiting the river boat dock, going to the Ballarat Wildlife Park and having a hands on experience with some of the animals. April 22 to 26: Tamworth

May 13 to 17: Coonabarabran

Visiting a virtual Solar System by driving, observatory, sandstone caves a beautiful untouched place, the Pilliga centre where you will have hands on experience touching animals, doing puzzles etc. Gunnedah: The Waterways Wildlife Park pat a koala and see lots of interesting animals, The Crystal Kingdom see and feel the crystals, the Australian Museum Diprotodon Exhibition and Lake Keepit. $1750 per person all-inclusive.  There is one Carer for every two Clients.  Vacancy for 4 travellers

May 20 to 24: Sydney and Surrounds

Visiting Sydney Aquarium where we will see lots of fish including dugongs, sharks, and tropical fish to name a few.  We will visit Darling Harbour by taking a train ride into the city, Taronga Park Zoo where we will see lots of animals including elephants, giraffes and lions.  We will also take the Sky Way over the Zoo.  We will go to Penrith Panthers and play Aqua Golf and then visit the Fire Museum where there is everything to do with fire on display. $1750 per person all-inclusive.  There is one Carer for every two Clients.  Vacancy for 6 travellers


June 17 to 21: Nelson Bay

Visiting the Shoal Bay Lighthouse, cruising to see dolphins, Oakvale farm and fauna feed the baby animals and ride the tractor, Morpeth an old town with lots of charm by a river, Newcastle Famous Tram tour Newcastle with commentary, Nelson Bay area and lots more. $1750 per person all-inclusive.  There is one Carer for every two Clients.  Vacancy for 5 travellers

 
July 22 to 26: Port Macquarie

Visiting Billabong Wildlife Park, cruise on a Chinese Junk and see lots of dolphins, Timbertown ride a train and see yesteryear, Marina area and beaches, Sea Acres walk the tropical boardwalk, Kempsey or South West Rocks, Lake Haven and lots more. $1750 per person all-inclusive.  There is one Carer for every two Clients.  Vacancy for 6 travellers

September 16 – 21   Brisbane – Surfers Paradise:

November 18 -23:  Another side to Tasmania:  Devonport – Burnie –Strahan – Queenstown and Zeehan: 

Flying into Launceston and driving to Devonport.  Visiting Burnie and the Don River Railway and taking a train ride on an old train, going to the Lactos Cheese Factory and tasting their cheeses, next door is the Hellyers Rd Distillery and the whisky tour, visiting Cradle Mountain and the National Park, Mt Ossa, cruising the Gordon River and Sarah Island in Strahan, visiting Queenstown and seeing landscape that resembles the Moon.  Visiting Zeehan and the Pioneer Museum. December 16 – 20:  Wollongong/Kiama

Visiting Stanwell Tops, The Symbio Wildlife Park, the Nan Tien Temple, the Wollongong Botanical Gardens, the foreshore of Wollongong, the Science centre and Planetarium, lots of hands on exhibits, Bulli and the Kiama Blowhole. $1750 per person all-inclusive.  There is one Carer for every two Clients.   Vacancy for 6 Travellers

Hawaii:  Staying in Oahu.  Trip includes a visit to Pearl Harbour, where we will visit the Arizona Memorial, walk though a submarine and take a navy shuttle.  We will also visit the Polynesian Cultural Centre, and experience Polynesian customs and traditions as well as their food.  We will drive around the island and visit the Diamond Head Crater as well as seeing a pineapple plantation; we will fit in other things time permitting. Melbourne: Staying in Moonee Ponds.  We will be driving to the Great Ocean Road and seeing the 12 apostles, possibly some koalas and many shipwrecks. We will be visiting the Centre of Melbourne, taking a tram ride which allows us to get on or off as we please to visit all that Melbourne has to offer, like the aquarium, the old Jail, Parliament House Etihad Stadium and Federation Square City. We will take a ride on the Puffing Billy Steam train ad visit the Yarra valley and Healesville Sanctuary and see lots of wildlife. Perth:   We will be staying in Perth.  We will take a cruise to Rottnest Island and see the native Quokka’s.  We will also do a coach tour here.  We will visit Fremantle, Perth’s Port City including the Maritime Museum; we will also board the historical tram to see that all Fremantle has to offer. Alice Springs:  We will be staying in Alice Springs and taking a tour of the Rock. We will see the sun setting on the rock as well as a good look around. Linmar Travel Consultancy reserves the right to alter the itinerary while on holidays to meet the needs of the individual/group. 

Linmar Travel Consultancy does not take people on holiday who:

 

1.        Show signs of violence

2.       Have high challenging behaviours

3.       Cannot climb 3 stairs into a bus with minimal help. (Don’t have a government approved wheelchair bus at our disposal).

 

If a person with a disability has challenging behaviours, a behaviour management plan needs to be submitted.  A decision would then be made as to whether or not a person is accepted on a trip.

 

All monies for interstate or intrastate trips by bus need to be paid 30days prior to travel.

All monies for interstate, intrastate and overseas by plane need to be paid once booking is made.

 

Cancellation fees:

 

Intrastate:        Cancellations made outside of 21 days of departure are   subject to a $500 cancellation fee.

                         Cancellations made inside of 21 days, penalties of up to 100% of full monies paid will apply.

                                                Travel Insurance will be offered at an extra cost; this is optional but will not cover pre existing illnesses.

 

Interstate/Overseas:          Travel Insurance is taken out for all persons with a disability.

 

If cancellation occurs due to a new illness not a pre-existing one and a doctor’s certificate is produced payments will be refunded via the insurance policy.  In all other circumstances, outside of 60 Days of departure a loss of 50% and inside of 60days 100% of full monies paid will apply.

 

Damages to property:

While all care is taken to protect against property damage, the cost of any damage will be the responsibility of the person who has done the damage not Linmar Travel Consultancy, this includes things like carpet cleaning and breaking of glass.
